The holidays have come and gone and I shamefully have yet to even recount our lovely Thanksgiving dinner. The intentions were there; part one was published. But part two, arguably the most important being that it’s all about food, is missing.
I didn’t have the time to brag about our scrumptious homemade cinnamon rolls that were swimming in goo. They were so easy to make and would provide even a cooking amateur the chance to shine in the culinary spotlight.
And what about our Thanksgiving turkey? You know, the turkey I had never made before? My only parting wish was that it would have tasted as good as it looked. Though in this picture even that is lacking.
But alas, that holiday is long gone now, and it’s time I get a move on. There’s better things to recount, like what was in my Christmas stocking, who cooked the Christmas turkey, how many balls Morenna received from Santa and Jadyn’s current record for daily clothes soiling. Stay tuned.
Regarding the cinnamon rolls...what kind of a picture is that to post in January when once again we TRY AND FOCUS on healthy nutrition and exercise...HMMM??? Loved seeing you all over the hoidays! AP
ReplyDeleteHey, I would like to know how you got your site banner designed! :)
ReplyDeleteMe: I actually did it myself... but stay tuned, I'm actually in the process of producing a new one. Should have it up in a week or so. You'll have to let me know how you like it.
ReplyDeleteI certainly will! How did you do it, though? i'm looking into one for my site.
ReplyDeleteI built it from scratch using CorelDraw. Took a little bit of time but I like that I can customize my own look and feel. :-) The next one I'm doing has more of a 3D appearance. I'm excited!
ReplyDeleteLet me know how it goes for you! If you like what you see with my new design I'd be happy to build you one to fit your preferences for a minimal fee.
