It's a baby, stupid

Throughout the last few weeks, I've found my pregnant self oddly annoyed by the simple, kindhearted question anxiously posed by friends and strangers alike: "So, do you know what you're having?"

I have to wrestle back the urge to reply: "Ahhh...a baby, I hope."

But sarcasm aside, we finally have a real answer for all of you: "Yes...

... we're expecting a beautiful baby girl."

And in other news, my due date was moved up... so we'll get to see our little Spring cherry blossom a bit earlier than originally expected. :-)

  4. I personally love the head-tilt-how-are-you-feeling question. :) Congrats on a baby girl! Pink, orange and red for you!!!

We are going with blue and brown. with green thrown in. :)

Aren't the pictures fun!?! The profile makes them feel so real, although because they have NO fat at this point the face one is always a little scary. :)

    Are you feeling any better??

Blessings on you, Matt and Baby Girl S!!

  6. You should have had everyone post their predictions BEFORE, that way you would have a record of who "knew" and who didn't have a clue. :) Write me down for the later.

    Congrats, she is beautiful.

  7. I knew it was a girl the same way I knew Kelly was having a girl. But I should probably keep my secrets to myself. O:-)

  11. Yay! Girls are so much fun. :-) (Like Sarah, I am a bit prejudiced also, haha.) Though I must say I think we got one active enough to compete with any boy, lol. I love the pictures! It's like, "Yes, that IS a baby moving around in there!!"

And yeah... Jeremy definitely came back a few times with the line, "It's a *baby*, DUH!" ;-)
