This morning I gave Morenna a box of Cheerios to play with. I should've guessed there might be a mess. :-) This is the first mess of any significance that she's created (I know all you seasoned moms are laughing at me right now) so I acted rather surprised when I saw it. Poor thing, she thought she had done something really wrong.My parents are coming today and I can't wait. While I'm definitely excited to see them (and Morenna can't wait to see Uncle Buddy, the dog), perhaps my excitement more stems from the fact that they are coming so that M and I can leave. Yup, we're leaving Morenna overnight with Gramma and G-Daddy and heading off to the Mandarin-Oriental Washington D.C. for a night of peaceful sleep and sweet luxury. I. Can't. Wait. More on that later. :-)
